This page outlines the management procedures of the website with reference to the processing of the personal data of the users who consult it.
This document was compiled along the lines of a similar document on the website of the Data Protection Authority dated 16/08/2006 and amended and integrated as required.

Navigation data
The information systems and software procedures relied upon to operate this website acquire personal data as part of their standard functioning. The transmission of some personal data is an implicit feature of using Internet communication protocols.
Such information is not collected in order to relate it to identified data subjects, however, due to its very nature it might allow users to be identified after being processed and matched with data held by third parties.
The data category includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by any user connecting with this website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of such requests, the method used for submitting a request to the server, the size of the returned file, the numerical code indicating the server response status (successfully performed, error, etc.) and other parameters related to a user's operating system and computer environment.
Such data are used for the sole purpose of extracting anonymous statistical data regarding the use of the website and for checking its proper operation. Data are immediately deleted after processing. Data might be used to establish liability if computer crimes are committed against the website.

The data subject also has the right to obtain the updating, amendment or, where interested, the integration of data, the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of any data that has been unlawfully processed, as well as certification that the aforesaid operations have been brought to the attention of those to whom the data have been communicated or disclosed.
Finally, the data subject has the right to object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data concerning the same data subject for the purposes of sending advertising or direct sales materials or for carrying out market research or commercial communication surveys.
